If you straighten your hair every OTHER day, including blow drying every other day, how damaging is to your hair?

Depending on what you use to straighten your hair, you may be frying it....

I straighten my hair EVERY day, but I don't blow dry it. My hair is in near perfect condition, and considering that I straighten it every day, and have dyed it 10 times I say thats pretty good.

My reccomendations is really watch WHAT type of straightener you use, and WHAT type of shampoo and conditioner you use...

I reccoment using a PURE ceramic or tourmaline hair straightener as well as blow dryer if you MUST blow out your hair...of course, they are a bit more expensive, but worth it, 100%. I reccomend personally by my useage either a Sedu flat Iron, Chi Flat Iron, a T3 Tourmaline Iron, or a babyliss iron. All top salon quality hair tools, garunteed for good results and less damage.

As for shampoo, I reccomend shampoo and conditioner by Redken fifth avenue...They have different products depending on how damaged your hair is, or how dry etc, seriously look into it...it does cost a bit more, but you're hair will be thanking you, seriously. I get compliments allll the time, on how my hair is in such good condition, considering what I do to it every day.

What I usually do, is wash my hair before I go to bed, so then it will dry by the time I wake up, and I can avoid blow drying it all together, and just straighten it in about 15 miniutes (and I have VERY thick hair, its again because of the quality hair straightener, that I mentioned above that makes it so quick to straighten) in the morning before school or work...

First of all i take a shower at night, so when i get out i towel dry it with obviously a towel and a wide tooth comb and then in the morning i straighten my hair and my hair is healthy and shiny and beautiful

From experience it doesnt damage ur hair that much but It does to the point that your hair turns fringy and SUPER frizzy if u do that every OTHER day.

you're frying it. buy a 'for straightening' hair product, or a heavy duty conditioner and it will, for the most part, prevent your hair from severe damage. make sure your ends get the most care because that is what will suffer most.
