What are some good tips/techniques for hair straightening/styling?

To straighten your hair like that, do it after you shower or something and wait until your hairs almost dry.



I find that straightening my hair when its the tinest bit damp makes it straighter and smooth.



And to syle your hair like that, backcomb the top and back to make it stick up, then spray it with hair spray to hold it in place. It's actually REALLY easy. :]

your hair is at its weakest when its wet, so don't do it when its wet, it will start to get damaged and frizzy and start breakin off. to get this look (looks) when you flat iron take vertical sections instead of horizontal sections and as you flat iron, pull these sections to the front. use "headbanger" spray wax by tigi. its an orange can with a purple top found at your local salon. so just spray in and punk out. it will holdall day as well. youll love it
