I recommend using the biosilk silk therapy with the chi iron and just a small amount of creme press........rub the creme press into the hair one time before you start and a little biosilk and you should have straight silky hair that has a lot of body and shine....I used mine today and I look flawless!!!

My friend is African American and she uses Chi. She uses a silicone based serum to tame her hair before she irons. I believe she uses Citre Shine Serum. I have not seen any frizz in her hair. Good Luck.

Yes! It is the best. You can use a good serum Redkin has one, but to get you hair to look it's best you have to concentrate on the whole process of washing your hair not just the straighting part. Meaning get good conditioners, and always read the label. if the conditioner say leave it in for 5 min do just that because depending on the conditioner it may react totally different.
