Straightening ur hair, how often should u do it?

okay i got to school and i see girls straightening their hair every 2-3 wks, what i wanna know is if i straighten my hair every two months do u think it will get damaged, i just want to do it in Jan. for and event and then again for march for another event. i hate split ends, but i want to know if i flat iron every 2 month will it be damaged?

It will definately get damaged. Doing it once in 6 months is fine but once in 2 months will damage your hair and make your hair drop and frizzy.

u should straight ur hair for when ever you want. but not every day. ok... staright it one week WITHOUT washing it. then leave it one week. then straight it the next. get it?

really i think any amount of straightening damages hair. in your case do some deep conditioning before you straighten.concentrating on your ends. i dont think you will have massive damage. maybe a few splits( if u can even notice them) but its the price you pay. maybe get a trtim after both events.

hi your hair will get damaged if you straighten it every 2 months. on the other hand it will not get damaged if you straighten it every half of the year which is 6 months. if you use a real deep conditioner before straightening it I'm sure you could manage it the times you want it straightened. so i would say go for it and put strong conditioner on. hope i could help!!
