i write a lot, but you can read fast, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

i blow dry and straighten my hair every day and every night when i go to bed (don't ask) so my hair has been getting really damaged over the years, so i was thinking about getting the thermal straightening thing done

but it is really exensive, is there any place that has it for less than $100 an hour (it would take about 3 or 4 hours) or is there any way for me to earn money fast

im 15 and can't get a ride to a steady job

I'm around your age and I personally don't have many issues with frizz and having to straighten, but being around so many of my friends who do have those problems I can probably provide some assistance. I don't know of any place that has it for less than $100 an hour. But I do suggest that you limit yourself to straightening your hair only once a day, unless you really feel the need to straighten it twice that day if you're going out or something. If you know you won't be going out that day then it'd be better if you just limited yourself to once that day or your hair will consistently become more and more damaged. To help lessen the effect of the damage on your hair, you can try some products like Infusium23. They have shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in treatment products that can also help with frizz, so that could help with limiting how often you straighten your hair. If your hair is also naturally oily, I wouldn't suggest using conditioner, as it might make your hair even more oily. I've had to use the Infusium23 leave-in treatment and shampoo in the past for my damaged hair and it worked and I no longer have to use it. I hope this bit of information helped. Here's the site for Infusium23: http://www.infusium.com/us/ . Good luck =)

what i recommend you do, instead of the thermal heating thing, is look into going a black hair salon, and investing $40.00 every other week so that they can straighten your hair professionally... and the tools that are used a black salon are ten times hotter than the electric ones that you use, so your hair will stay straighter MUCH longer...

OR you can go to the salon, and ask them if your hair is thick enough for them to put a light relaxer of texturizer on your hair... true, it's chemicals, but it will keep your hair straight for about a good six months, and you'll just need to go and get a touch up...

i'd be able to give better advice if i had an idea of what texture of hair you have...

If your all White or non-African American, this is going to sound crazy to you, but you can as a non-Black use our products on your hair, you just would put it on and smooth it for like 15 min. and not the 25 min. we use to straighten our hair, so if you go to like Sally beauty supply and get a large tub of African American relaxer (all our products are tested on non-black hair before it hits the market to sell to us, so I know it's safe), if your hair is short then get a regular box, but if you have long hair then you will need a larger box (tub of relaxer), and you wont need to spend $100 for one time (or every time you want to straighten your hair) if you spend a $100 it will be over a six month period, so good luck. send me a email to tookiebear2001@yahoo.com and tell and send me a pic of how beautiful it came out, or if you need any advice to properly put it in and mixing it. My name is Tracy
