My hair is naturally poofy and curly, and I hate how it looks.
So, since fourth grade, I have been straightening my hair every day. When I straighten it, it gets smooth, silky, and very straight. I use a straightener that goes up to 400 degrees.
My friends think that I've been straightening my hair for to long, and they say that my hair is going to "die" and it will all fall out.
I reaally love my hair straight, but I reallly don't want to go bald!
HELP!!!
Does straightening your hair damage it?!?
you wont go bald
all that straightning your hair does it dry it out
just take very good care of it
use extra conditioner
heat protection spray when straightning or blow drying
and use afinal product to moisturise your hair
Ive been straightning my hair for 10 years and cause I do all this its still in shiney condition and all threre
Does straightening your hair damage it?!?
it wont fall out.
it just bad for your hair because-
straightening= dry hair= split ends=harder for hair to grow.
Does straightening your hair damage it?!?
The heat does dry it out but you are not gonna go bald. I'd just suggest buying a good shampoo and conditioner and most importantly cut the ends every few months and you will be fine! =o)
Does straightening your hair damage it?!?
yeah it will proably just give u split ends tho
so dont use it alot
Does straightening your hair damage it?!?
Well it depends, If you over straighten or straighten it too much than it dries out and most likely gets fried. But if you wash your hair every other day, use a good straightening spray and straighten it like every 2 two days it should be fine.Just dont go overboard!
Does straightening your hair damage it?!?
Well, we are in the same boat because I also straighten my poofy hair!
The high temps needed can't be good for the hair, but what are we to do? I say as long as we give our hair a rest every now and then it should be alright.
Does straightening your hair damage it?!?
your hair wnt fall out but it cause your hair to dry nd grow slow bcoz of the split ends tht hav grown..
just try nd use your straightners less and on a lower heat! xx
dnt worry xxx
