If so, would you recommend it? How much did it cost? Did it damage your hair?

Has anyone had the Chinese Hair Straightening technique done?

I have not heard of Chinese hair straightening, but I have heard of Japanese hair straightening. I have not had it done, but I saw it on TV and also found a Wikipedia article on it (see link below). The procedure is expensive, but from what I've heard, it's more gentle on your hair than other chemical or heat hair straightening methods.
