Is it worth it straightening hair everyday?

Doesn't it get burned? What's better, getting permanently straightened at a salon or just buying a flat iron? What's the best kind of iron or whatever that straightens hair? What products are used to prevent your hair from getting burned? What is the daily routine, do you even straighten everyday?

i think its better to get your hair permenently straightened at a salon, that way you dont have to waste time straightening it.

if you do want to straigten your hair, i think the CHI is the best iron i've ever used, and i used to have course thick curly hair, but the CHI made it nice and smooth. but then i went to the salon and got a cheaper version of japanese straightening done so now i dont have to flat iron my hair so much :)

i think its better to get it permanently straight than iron your hair everyday coz its not good for your hair....i don't straighten my hair everyday coz my hair naturally straight...

If it only takes you like 5-10 mins to straighten your hair its fine...thats how long it takes me...but if it takes you a hour just to get your hair straight ya its probably going to cause some damage...you could just not wash it everyday and straighten it 2-3 times a week...or something.

yeah it gets burn your better off getting a perm its less damage to your hair...........and there are many products for that purpose just ask some one in tha store they show u .........but a perm is way better!!!!!!!!!!

No it's not. It is nice to wear your hair straight everyday. I used to do it all the time and now i have a lot of hair breakage and it is dry and ugly. There are creams that you can put on your hair to prevent it from all the damage but sometimes they are a bit too expensive but it is worth it. The best iron to use would be a ceramic one. The products you can use that i have used are Thermasilk products. I am not sure if they are still out in the market but they are really good for heat.
