Can straightening irons make your hair fall out?

I straighten my hair very to two days.Can straightening to much cause hair to fall out because I always worry when Im straightening my fringe that its not very good for it.I use this protective spray before I straighten but does it really protect it from getting damaged?

I straighten my hair everyday, and I blow dry my hair before I straighten it to help get the waves out, and I've been doing that since I was in middle school, and I'm going to be a Junior in high school already, so don't worry, your hair will be fine. Keep using your protective spray before you straighten, and you'll have nothing to worry about :D

hmm im not sure.. i straighten mine often too. my hair seems to fall out alot sometimes when i wash it after straightening... it scares me!!....i think the protective products do help out a little. i wouldnt worry too much cuz i dont think it is all going to fall out at once lol.......

Your hair won't fall out (that happens at the root) but regular use of heat might eventually dry it and cause some breakage.

Definitely keep up with the protective product, use the iron on as low of heat as you can, and don't use it any more than necessary.

Every now and then you may want to give your hair a hot oil or some other deep/intense conditioning treatment to help restore and protect it.

yes it can. When i start using straighteners my hair start falling out, not alot. you should use some sort of oil or cream in your hair to protect it from the heat. Don't straighten it to much. I have curly hair but i don't really use them no more because i don't want more hair to fall out no matter what people say to me.
