Product to use while straightening hair?

Im saving up for a CHI flat iron. rite now im using a JIlbere one, i like it but i need something that makes my hair soft%26amp;shiny and goes quicker. So anyways..heres the question: what is the absoulute BEST hair products to use when/before straightening hair? my hair is damaged due to previous flat irons, and i want a product that provides natural looking shine, softenss%26amp;the most protection for my hair. oh yeah, when i sed damages..its only dry in the middle and bottoms sections but not near the top of my head. also, what is a super super good deep conditioner?

I used to have the exact same problem as you do. I went to a new stylist with my hair damaged and breaking off. She started me on Crema Conditioner by Terax ($22), this is the best conditioner in the world. You can leave it on for 2 minutes for normal, or 15 minutes for Deep conditioning - and you can tell a difference in your hair right away. It never weighs your hair down either. Second, she recommended a product called Illuminating Serum Cristalli Liquid by AlfaParf ($28). It looks like an oil, but it never makes your hair oily or weighs it down. You can put it on when your hair is wet, or after you have dried it, before straightening. The difference is remarkable. It smooths, protects, and makes your hair incredibly manageable and shiny. I have been using these products now for a total of 10 months, and my hair is in INCREDIBLE shape. They are well worth the extra money spent on them. I also use a CHI iron, and it is definitely the best straightening iron out there. Hope you can find these products and try them, you will see a huge difference.

there is some really good stuff that you can get at places like trade secret or places that sell hais stuff it is for people who have chi straightners and you spay it on before you straighten it and it works really well. There is a new product by panteen prov that really works it's like this orange pomade stuff and I use it after I staighten it and it rally helps because my hair is really frizzy to.

Ok, I suggest you use Aquage beyond shine spray while straightening your hair, because it makes your hair very silky and polished, and it's long lasting too! A very good quality conditioner that would be good to use is Redken Extreme Rescue Force conditioner because it's specifically made to strengthen and restore distressed hair. You can buy these products at salons only, but they will definitely work better than anthing you could buy at a store such as Wal-Mart! Oh yah, because of your hair being damaged right now, try not using hot tools such as the flat iron as much right now.

The best is the Chi products..if you can afford them now.

They have shampoo, cond, straightening gels and other stuff...especialy Silk Infusion serum, that stuff is a must have!:)

It helps protect hair from the flat Iron.

If you cant get these things, I suggest a Reparitive shampoo or cond. maybe Pantene, or something that says it repairs. Matrix Biolage hydrating balm, or Matrix Sleek are great conditioners, or again, the Pantene cond. If you can get the Silk Infusion tho, it is totaly worth it!!

you can put it on wet, or dry hair before you flat iron, and if you want to put it on again afterwards you can.
