But my hair is just past chin length in the back/side, and to my eyebrows in the bangs, so I was wondering, how much it would cost for my hair length? Also, the place I would be getting this done starts at 40$+.

I strongly don't recommend it. Those chemicals really take a toll on your hair. Just buy a flat iron.

If you get the Brazilian or Chi straightening done in a salon, it is not BAD for your hair. I have the Chi done every 4 months. The first time was $500.00 ($100.00/hr) and now for touch ups it's $100.00. I've never heard of any professionaly charging only $40.00 unless they're using a Paul Mitchell relaxer.

If your hair is that short/thin, it's way easier and cheaper to just do it yourself. It really should'nt take long!
