Ok so the tips of my hair are burnt from straightening..?

So i straighten my hair daily and have discovrered the tips are burnt, so like 1mm of my hair is like white. But i heard that people get the ends of there hair burnt so the ends wont split. So i was wondering since the ends of mine are burnt from straightening, does this mean they wont split, and will dying my hair cover them up? because i really dont want to cut my hair.

i straighten my hair and never get burnt or split ends. so i think its wierd for you to, but dying it would help.

i straighten my hair everyday and their not burnt but i get split ends. maybe you should just get a trim to get rid of the burnt ends, and by dying ur hair, it could make it worse.

You should get your hair cut white hair is dead hair not burnt! There is a difference between the way they burn your tips at a salon and the way it is with a straightener! And if you dye your hair it will only get worst!

Sorry...cut your hair. If you dye your hair, the dye will not cover properly and your "tips" will be lighter...and look very unflattering. Burnt ends are the first sign of unhealthy and "uncared for" hair...not very fashionable or attractive. Where did you hear that people get their ends burnt off so their ends do not split???? Even if the ends are burnt off, whatever remains (the tips) is ruined, right?

Just get a trim, they'll only take about 2 inches off. Then use hot oil treatments to repair the rest of your hair.

give your hair a break!

poor thing!

i wouldnt like my hair flattening down my face with an iron!

but i straighten my hair too..

just blow dry it after washing it, blow dry it straight.

then put on some heat protector stuff and straighten it.

add some decent hair moose on your hair before you blow dry to make it look nice.

you can add some other styling products after it if you want it to be cool...

but other than it it will look decent till the next wash.

remember to give your hair a break for a week!

stressing the hair with heat and products sounds like a hard time!

xxxxx

Check with a beautician because "twittling with it" could, and probably would, make it worse.
