I want to do the Japanese Straightening thing where the hairstylists chemical straightens your hair....I have kind of straight hair but theres a few annoying waves in it and I have to straighten it about everyday..I know getting it chemically straightening is like $500 and it only lasts 6 months or something...so is it worth it? Does it leave your natural straight and soft and smooth?
Can anyone tell me some details about chemically straightening your hair?
Chemically straightening your hair is just a perm without the rollers , a little bit of flour is added to the perm lotion so when its put on your hair it hardens making your hair to stay straight while it works, waist of money really cause not all the time it will work. it can damage your hair but thats the chance you take when getting it done.

If you have really thick hair and spend a lot of time fixing your hair in the morning then Japanese straightening will worth every penny. It leaves your hair silky and saves tons of you time. It usually cost $200-$300 for thick and long hair and it will last you about a year.
