After straightening my hair it is sooo frizzy?

I have kind of long dark brown hair, and whenever I blow dry or straighten it it is frizzy. Putting products in makes it very greasy and frizzy! Any tips or recipes or something to help?

go to walmart and buy the suave sleek line.. there's shampoo, conditioner, frizz control cream, and a spray that protects your hair from heat damage cause by blow dryers and straighteners.. it's also really cheap.. probably ten dollars for the whole line.. it's all in orange bottles..

it's a knock off of the salon line called matrix sleek look.. only this would cost you much, much more as it is commonly only sold in salons..

i have used both.. and the suave version works just as well and id much more affordable.. it keeps your hair soft, smooth, and protects it from breaking off from all that heat and creating frizzies..

also.. try to let your hair dry naturally as often as possible before straightening it..

It is because you are heat damaging your hair. You have to let it take some time to mend and heal itself. If you must straighten, use conditioner and DO NOT straighten on weekends. Give your poor hair a break, hun!!

I have blond hair and products really show up greasy also, BUT if you don't use too much the L.A. Looks Sport Fiber Paste X-treme Hold 10 (blue jar) works awesome!! BUT like I said don't go overboard with it! I barely dip my fingertips in.

are you using a good straightener? try washing you hair at night and straightenig it in the morning, it will leave your hair like silky straight and unfrizzy. the best product i find is hair serum by john frieda or citrus shine. also deep condition your hair at least once a month and use an every day conditioner (try brillante brunette by john frieda).

straighten every other day, deep condition, get it trimmed regularly, and invest in some really good flat iron protector for your hair and buy a chi straightener, you will definately be happy that you did.
