i got my hair highlighted this morning, and i want to straighten it for tonight but will the heat ruin my highlights at all???

Straightening does not change you hair color in any way I hope your using a thermal iron spray with your straighting routine!!!!

no not if you don't use it that often!! But if you use it to mush like everyday then it could ruin your hair not just your colour!!

ironing your hair too much can dry it out. When your hair is very dry the color starts to lighten up. Keep your hair moisturized that way your color will look great. Remember to protect your hair with products before you apply heat and get your hair trimmed every 6 weeks.

If this is ur first time, it won't cause anything. But long term it might damage ur hair and the color also if u don't treat ur hair well (apply vitamin, hot oil, hair spa, etc...)

It has never bother me but I have very short hair. I do it to keep it under control so it won't frizz up on me. It does dry out your hair but again since my hair is short.. it just cuts right out. It may be a different story for someone who has longer hair.
