Any good advice on straightening my hair?

I've used straightening irons, mousses, etc. Nothing seems to make the waves in my hair go away. How does everyone else straighten their hair?

First you need to get a good straightener. Don't go out to wal-mart and get the cheapest one you can find. Hot tools is pretty good. Also ceramic straighteners are better for your hair. If just using the straightener doesn't keep it straight then wash your hair with a shampoo that helps straighten hair. Sun silk, Garnier frutis and such. Then I would get got2b I don't know the name of the exact product but it is in an orange, square at the bottom goes into a triangle, bottle. you put it on after a shower it not only keeps your hair straight it also protects it.

My sister has extremely curly hair. I mean extreme. One day she comes to pick me up to take me to the airport. I hardly recognise her. She has straight hair, something that I have never see on her before. She said that last week while she was sick she was watching one of those silly informercials about straigtening hair. And it worked. Not only did it look great but she is an avid runner, and she said that even after running her hair remains straight. I wish I knew what it was called, but perhaps you are up late in America and can look out for it on the TV. Good luck.

Well stop using the straightening iron its going to permanently damage ur hair gurl! I did that last year and my hair got thinned due to it. Though it takes a lot of patience to get the real hair back.

Try getting the permanent straightening done at a good salon, and ask them to wisely guide you to use the right products for ur hair once straightened. You'll never get a permanent solution to get rid of the frizzy hair. Unless u keep getting them straightened every 2 months!

First of all Mousse will make your hait curlier. If you dont have a GHD Hair Straightner, go out and buy one, it's the only way to have your hair sleek straight. There expensive but well worth it, I couldn't live without mine.

Also, use a serum prior to ironing, like Citre Shine anti-frizz spray laminator. It will protect hair from damage, keeping it shiny.

Smothing serum and gel mixed together, a good blowdryer with a nozzel, and a round brush, and a CHI straigtening iron. You could also book an appoinment with a stylist for a lesson, I do this all the time with my clients they love it

Get a decent straightening balm like Tre Semme and take your time when straightening your hair, just get small sections at a time and go over it slowly and your hair will be poker straight!

Don't use mousse. Deliberatly condition your hair and then use a straightening serum or cream when your hair is wet. Let your hair air dry (do not blow dry) and then straighten out.
