Straightened hair..?

Don't use baby powder. It works okay if you're blonde, but if your hair is darker than light blonde, it will look like dandruff. To keep your straight AND clean, get a dry shampoo. To use dry shampoo, you simply lift sections of your hair and spray the roots from about 6 to 8 inches away all around your head. Rub it into your scalp for about 1 min. Then it set for another couple of minutes, then brush your hair with a natural bristle brush. You can find cheap dry shampoo at Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens. You can find PSSST! or use Salon Grafix. With Salon Grafix you can get a dry shampoo that coordinates with your hair color. Then straighten as needed. Good luck.

Straightened hair..?

I'm guessing you want to use the baby powder to get rid of the oil in your hair after a few days. I have found it to work pretty good when it is rubbed in real well and you do it in sections. I'd say start off with a little and work your way up until you get the effects you're looking for. Also, hairspray can soak up some of the oil as well if the whole baby powder thing scares ya. If you have dark hair I would be careful with the baby powder.

Straightened hair..?

DON'T use a hot straightener!!! Heat makes your oils stand out more!!! If you are blonde, use baby powder. put a couple sprinkles on your hand and then put a blush brush in it. make sure it's not caked on. then use the brush to put it onyour roots. try not to get it on the part though.

If you have brown hair, as i do, i ahve learned that bronzer works too. use it the same way as the baby powder for blone hair.

Also, if you do not want to use baby powder, DO NOT use a lot of product, it makes the oiliness worse. Use the "cool" setting with a wire brush and lift your hair from the roots while styling.

Hope that helps!!
